Jude Lilienthal

Jude is a Clinical Social Worker licensed in both Missouri and Kansas. She graduated with a Masters of Social Work from the University of Kansas in 1991. Jude has been involved in Body Centered Gestalt Therapy training from 1984 to the present. Jude’s work as a therapist has included helping individuals (adults, adolescents, and children), families and couples as they work through trauma, grief and loss, reconciliation, issues related to parenting, illness, and substance abuse. She also has experience working with the Child Welfare system and Family Court. Jude began her career as an Occupational Therapist in 1981 with an emphasis on holistic health providing services for a pain management program, including relaxation training/stress management with biofeedback.

Peg Marland

Peg has been in health care for over thirty years. She started her career as a Registered Nurse in 1978. She graduated from UMKC’s CPCE Master’s program in 1986 and since 1989 has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has trained and graduated from the Hartford Family Institute as a Body Centered Gestalt Therapist. Peg has experience working with adolescents, anger management, body image, conflict resolution, depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, issues of self-esteem, sexual trauma, group therapy and psychotherapy training.

Shelley Stelmach-Nigro

Shelley has been offering diverse, supportive services for over twenty years in her work through the Westport Growth Center and in her community. Her empathic approach to such symptoms as depression, loneliness and grief give her insight into the everyday struggles, as well as the traumatic experiences we all face from time to time in our lives. Shelley is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her undergraduate degree is in Occupational Therapy, and she received a Master’s Degree in Psychology in 1982. Shelley completed five years of clinical training in 1990 with the Hartford Family Institute. She regularly teaches classes, workshops and in-services at local universities and medical centers.
